Indian Spiced Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 l filtered water
  • 1 Tbsp red tea
  • 1 Tbsp black tea
  • 1 Tbsp cardamon
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Bring water to light simmer, then add tea and spices. Simmer for 10 minutes then pour through strainer into a pitcher.
  2. Refrigerate to cool, then pour over ice for iced tea. Alternatively you can drink it hot.
  3. Add sugar and milk or cream to taste.
