Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
- Peel the sweet potatoes, then wrap them in foil and bake them in the oven for an hour, or until soft.
- In a large bowl, mash the potatoes and mix them with white sugar, eggs, butter, milk, vanilla, salt and spices. Mix until smooth.
- Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In medium bowl, mix the brown sugar and flour. Add in the butter and pecans. Sprinkle the topping over the sweet potato mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven 30 minutes, or until the topping is lightly toasted.
