Ingredients

  • 2 drop vanilla extract
  • 1/4 oz simple syrup
  • 1/4 oz orgeat syrup
  • 1/2 oz curacao
  • 1 lime
  • 2 oz dark rum

Instructions

  1. Juice the lime and set aside the shell. Mix your simple syrup with the drops of vanilla to make rock candy syrup.
  2. Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake well for 10 seconds and strain into a double old-fashioned glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with the lime shell and a sprig of fresh mint.
