Rumaki A/K/A Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Ingredients

  • 10 slices of apple wood smoked bacon
  • 1 can of whole water chestnuts drained
  • 1/2 C soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 20 toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Dissolve sugar and soy sauce in a large bowl
  2. Marinate water chestnuts (once drained) in soy mixture
  3. Wrap one half of a piece of bacon around one chestnut
  4. Repeat until you are out of chestnuts
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until bacon is crispy
